Fortnite (Battle Royal)

Fortnite (Battle Royal) is a multiplayer service game with a huge player count developed by the wonderful people at Epic Games. The game's focus is weapons and combat items that are unique every season. I was a Balance Design Intern there in Summer 2025.

  • Designed, balanced, prototyped with Blueprints, and iterated on in-game weapons in collaboration with art and engineering teams for Fortnite;

  • Delivered one of the most popular weapons in the Simpson season, Mr. Blasty and Krusty’s Mr. Blasty, among the work on other weapons and consumables.

Diablo IV (Expansion)

Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is the first expansion of Diablo IV,
a systems-heavy multiplayer ARPG developed by amazing people
at Blizzard Entertainment. I was a Systems Design Intern on this expansion in Summer 2024, right before its release.

  • Designed, iterated, and scripted content in
    a proprietary engine for a new Runewords system
    in collaboration with designers, QA, and engineers;

  • Designed and implemented drop rates crucial
    for end-game power progression;

  • Maintained and expanded design documentation.

Educational game designed for new administrators to learn Federal Costing Principles. It features a non-linear visual novel, point-and-click tasks, and an adorable narrative about office life.

  • Designed and built a game system that promotes learning of administrative tasks;

  • Redesigned diverse characters and created
    a compelling personal narrative;

  • Collaborated with content experts;

  • Scripted the entire game and created visuals.

Paper Kafka

Point-and-click web game about Max Brod's emigration from Prague, saving his life and Franz Kafka's works. Only controlling Max, players can manipulate a suitcase to move a ghost of Kafka and overcome obstacles with his assistance.

  • Designed game mechanics and levels that
    tell a story and support the historical narrative;

  • Scripted the game in Unity with C# and Adventure Creator plug-in;

  • Created all 3D models, unwrapping, texturing.
